Default I have a question for people with the non-hid jdm conversion

My car is in the process of getting its jdm conversion installed and i was wondering what you guys used to wire your foglamps up with. I thought about buying a universal kit from autozone. Let me know what you used, and pics. would be nice also. Thanks a lot. By the way im using piaa h3 for the fogs.

If you aren't interested in the JDM switch, a universal kit will serve just fine, and you can install your choice of switch with it. As far as the PIAA H3's, just be sure that they are 55 watt, as there have been a number of people who have damaged the yellow filter of the JDM foglights due to the heat of higher-wattage bulbs.

Soup - Are you referring to the bulb wattage? I'm only restating the information that I've seen, although there could very well be more to the stories. In any event, I'm not sure that higher-wattage fog lights are altogether very necessary (or effective), and I personally would focus my attention on the headlights themselves if I was seeking a lighting upgrade.

i was looking at some universal kits made by pilot and i looked around and i noticed a package of strobes made by pilot with a white dc2 with a jdm front and strobes illustrated in the corner lights on the package.....<---just thought that was hilarious.

Im with you on this one.
I ghetto rig'd it, I have my HID's now so i pulled the wire for the high beam from the wire harness and plugged it into the Fog light spot. Now i drive with High beams if i want the fogs on.

Just a heads-up for the JDM fog light switch. The DA (2nd Gen INtegra 90-93 )Fog light switch fits perfectly into the Sunroof Switch hole. Screw the JDM, i have 2 of those switches laying around and it fits perfectly. I just need to get it wired up, i blew my Autozone kit.
I have no idea how to wire. ANyone care to help us out with this?

All you need is a relay, wires, switch, and fuse and your all set. Easily less than $20
