Default VSS doesn't reach

We are doing a b16 swap in a crx and the vehicle speed sensor doesn't seem to be long enough to go into the female part. we have converted the b16's sensor to the sensor that is found on the d16 and we are using the same sensor that is found on the fire wall but the motor mount seems to be to big for the cable to reach up and around...what do i do? has anyone had this problem? we are using hassport mounts and everything fits perfectly except this...did we do something wrong? quick answers appreciated.

there isn't anywhere for it to go, we have tried i was hoping someone had the same problem and could tell me how they went about either swapping the cable or making it longer somehow. there isn't anywhere for it to go though.
