mY OH mY. Conemasher talkin lots-o-trash, gettin going from a grocery getter to a girly car for this one e-vent.

GS at this event should be good for some crowd pleasing entertainment. Hopefully I won't be in 6th place after Saturday, like I was in Toledo. Maybe the surface grip will be a little more predictable.

 

I'm predicting Kevin Youngers won't win DS. Why? Because he cancelled his entry. Beyond that it's a crapshoot with the weather. All I know is that come rain or shine, I'm going to drive my GUTS out.

PS- Rob don't mind those two... it's a friend/past co-driver thing If I were in GS I'd be getting ragged/ragging on them too At least both of them are in girly cars and nothing manly like... a Sentra.

Well, the owner of that little RED CRX told me he wouldn't be at DC; that was the reason he was at Toledo.....I'm just worried about mr. G.od's H.ere Sharp. The thing is, it can be anyone's event in GS. We've all beaten up on each other before enough to know...

Oh, and I'm allowed to make fun of Conemasher. Part of the co-driver contract for the weekend.

I heard that Carpenter might not be there, and if he is, not in the GS car.

If the forecast doesn't get better, I'm cancelling. There's no point in driving if I don't have any chance at all (ie., no dirt stockers, unlike the Kozlaks and Strano).

well, we all know sts will most likely be won by a 4th gen civic. but there are some other fast cars out there. i think there will be a celica gt(non-s) in the top 5 driven by someone no one has ever heard of.

Man, oh man...didn't know my "you MAY be in for it" comment would ruffle your feathers so much. And as far as your co-driver beating you.....nevermind And Rob I'm glad you can play....So far I haven't lost to my co-driver at a national event. Just 'cause you win National events or trophy all the time and got fourth at nats last year doesn't mean you can drive....uh, well maybe it does!

Crap, Maybe I'll just stay home and play racing games. The way I drove at Petersburg, I'll be lucky if I can keep from being DFL in HSL in a Z06!!!

he haunts NYR SCCA STS class

 

My prediction: STS will be dominated by Civics because CRX's can't play there.

the weatherman also says rain for saturday, so that reading nullifies the magic 8 ball's reading... guess i'll have to take that torch to daddio's ball joint again....oops, i have said too much already

You do realize you WDCR DSP guys are giving us WDCR CSP guys a complex?

 

DC has some of the best DSP contenders in the country right now. I'm not saying who will win the tour...that will depend on conage mostly. Any of the names you mentioned could take it if they drive well. Hell, last week at Ripken, Aahj beat my best time by .200 but he had cones. Its going to be an interesting year indeed...

As for CSP, I noticed JayZ's car getting work done...perhaps he will help bring CSP back where they belong?

OK - here's a dark horse for STX - Vince Bly in a Cooper S. New car, looks like its well setup. If Vince keeps his sh*t together expect good things.

If there's a lot of rain I am going to enjoy kicking AWD a$$ in DS (got my Dirt Stockers ready!!) Screw the beauty of All Wheel Drive (haaa haaa)
