Dry Cell Battery
I am looking into replacing my battery in my 93 hb / b18c w FI. I was looking at few different brands of batteries and the one that really stands out is the dry cell Odyssey battery. They have two models for small vehicle applications (PC 680 and PC 925). The nice thing about these batteries is that they are dry cell and they weight very little compared to the stock one. Would anyone have any experience with these batteries and can point out pros and cons.
Also what is the stock cranking A required for the B18C engine.
Thanks.

I have used an Odyssey PC680 in my CRX for almost two years without problems. The only disadvantage I have noticed is that the capacity is less than a conventional battery. You can't run the stereo or headlights without the motor for as long without discharging the battery.
You can try here: http://thunderstruck-ev.com/batteries.htm
I got the SVR-14 from them. It's very good battery. I use it on my race car, so it doesn't get used much, but I haven't had a problem with it discharging. I usually remove the negative terminal when the car sits, but I have left it on for up to 2 months without starting the car up. Then when I do go to start the motor, it cranks without any problems. I like it much better than the Baker Precision battery I had.
