What has everyone here run in the 1/4 mile with their stock DC5? I was running 15.3 on average....

and i don't want magazine 1/4 mile times, I want your own 1/4 mile times...

 

has no one here ever taken there car to a 1/4 strip before? I've gone once just so i know what my car can do in a 1/4mile...but twisties is where the fun's at...

 

well i haven't ran my car yet..but u can find some times on clubrsx.com...but i think this have been discused b4..so try doing a search..
average times are low 15's high 14s..so ur doing ok..but u could still improve

OK I either suck really bad which I dought sense Ive been racing for the past 8 years and I've held my own or the track I race at sucks (Moroso Palm Beach, FL I've even heard the big boys dont come out to that track because it sucks they just rather not get any points for the NHRA championship) Best time at that track was 15.4 and I ran a 9.8 at a 1/8 track.

I do get wheel spin heavy on 2nd and low on 3rd but that shouldnt slow me down that much. Shoudl It? Is it the fact that the DC5 came with some crapy tires?

*Dream* what are RPM are you launching at. Are you riding your clutch and playing with the gas or are you droping it. Any tips.
