Default qustion on hesitation?

I recently had skunk 2 valve train and stage II cams installed. The shop that installed them also set my vafc.

When I am driving normal(not bashing on the pedal) when it hits vtec it kind of jerks(or maybe thats what they call lag). But if I get on it quick it you cant feel a difference when it hits vtec. Just wondering if anyone know if anythings wrong with my car or is it normal?

It can be many factors.
It can be tuning, i.e. how they set up the VAFC, it can be timming, it can be fuel delivery or fuel mix.

Could it be the way the location of the Vtec point and the overlap from High to Low and Low to High?

IMO you should tell the shop about it, if you havn't.

Explain it exactly as you explained it here. They tuned it once before so they should be able to pick up on it quickly.
