I bought a new hood lock from a fellow HT member. It seems as though my lock and the one I bought are in the same condition. I even tested his before I bought it. I started installing it and noticed where the cable hooks up to theres a plastic piece on the end of the cable. Its broken. Is this the cause of my problem? It will lock it the first time and the second time when I open the hood the lock will stay open. How can I fix this? Will I need to buy a new cable? Anyone else experience the same problem?
