Im just needin to know which line I tap my air fuel gauge to on the 1st o2 sensor, as of right now everything is done but the one i tapped is not givin a signal. If u could let me know which color it would help me out.

i think he is tapping at the o2 sensor, just tap at the ecu, its alot easier, or try reading the instructions or a repair manuel

I am tapping into the o2 sensor itself that is what is said in the insructions, but if it is easier to go through the ECU i will, just need to know which wire. ALso my car is an HX and has 5 wires from the primary ECU.
Thanks

on the white wire it gives me the richest reading possible. no fluctuation at all. When i hooked it up to my blue wire i get the same reading but when i turn the car off it fluctuates back to lean and turns off. IM completely lost and it is startin to **** me off, keep in mind I have an HX and it contains five wires. Should it be better to connect to the ECU wiring, if so which wire???????

I called autometer and they said for my hx with the 5-wire o2 sensor that the autometer gauge will not work due to it running from 0-1 volts. The wire that i would use to connect to it is a 5-volt thus explains why my reading was always rich. Now my choice is to install a single wire o2 into my header or ???????? ANy ideas please let me know. Thanks for everyones help
splice it into the ECU,...when i first hooked up my A/F,...i went to the o2,..i started the car,...it sat pegged on green for like 10 mins,..then it starts to move,...both my cars autometer A/F gauges do this,...and they both are spliced into the big white wire on the o2,..after awhile it starts to jump around all pretty and stuff,..it sure as hell isnt accurate

did u have a 4 wire or 5 wire harness, or did u hook it up straight to the ecu harness, if so which white wire cause i have two
I installed my a/f gauge today and there were 3 wires at the o2 sensor:
-green
-yellow
-red/blue
Take the last one to tab the wire from the a/f gauge and connect the other 2 to a ground and a 12v source! Thats it!

The fatty one huh?
Their all the same size bro.
It is the D14 (white) off your ECU.

BAM!

For everyone reading this, I know how to hook up a three and four wire harness to an air/fuel gauge. I am saying the HX model uses a 5 wire o2 harness that connects to a 7 wire harness. I read on another website that out of the 5 wires the lowest voltage reading is 5 volts on the HX. Autometer's gauges use 0-1 voltage to gauge for the air-fuel ratio. Is their a way to bypass this instead of drilling a third spot for my o2 sensor and running it down in my header. THanks

you only pay attention to WOT , the O2 voltage changes too rapidly just driving around.
you also only want to look at 3rd gear , as that is closest to a 1 to 1 ratio..
