d16y8 on 94 civic hb
You will need from the OBD1:
- P28 ECU
- PS pump
- injectors
- alternator
- Intake manifold
That is all i can think of now. But if you are good at repinning plugs, you can repin the Y8 injectors and alternator to make it work. And the reason why i said you need a intake manifold is because i just put a D16Y7 into my 92 hatch and the IACV worked differently. The D16Y8 uses a 3 wire IACV whereas the OBD1 ECU (P28) reads a 2 wire IACV. It won't run the IACV properly hence you wouldn't idle right. But mine was a D16Y7 so it might be different than the D16Y8. That is something to look into. Good Luck!
