Nice! I wonder why they bother making it look so nice when you never see it once it's installed? I mean it's like anodizing a piston - really.....

How does it compare to the Spoon unit?

Probably because when it sits on the shelf in the shop and then when people photograph it and post it on the net it makes people think "geez that looks really sweet - I should get one of those". It's all in the marketing.

How the fug do you install these things? I see no provision for flywheel bolts unless you can remove the pp from the flywheel.

pressure feel is normal....maybe alittle stiffer....

launching is great.... (STANDING STARTS ROAD RACING you ricers....)

engagement is rough if you don't rev match.....

clutch held with me slamming it into lower gears to slow the car at beaver run....

i will be putting one in my daily driver!

Huh? Did I miss something?
Flywheel bolts to crankshaft->Clutch Disk->Pressure Plate bolts to flywheel. Its like that for all clutches.

Actually the HyperSINGLE name refers to it being a single clutch disk (like the Cusco/OS SuperSINGLE), as many of these JDM metal disk clutch systems can be upgraded to dual, triple or even QUAD disks

how do you think the clutch would be for a daily driver? would your leg get tired by the time you drove around the block or is it not that stiff?

I tried an ACT HD/SS recently and thought it was broke because the pedal was so light (compared to the Cusco)

Biggest adjustment IMO is not the stiffer pedal, but rather the lower engagement point (and the noise).
