At what RPM does VTEC engage on a 93 prelude vtec?

 

some say 5k, some say 5,200?? Just when it does, hold on =~)

 

i dunno if it makes a difference..but I drive a 93 srv (Canada) car(even though i am from San Francisco)...the V-tec hits in at 5,000...I can hear the intake screaming for more air at that rpm.....but at the same time I have an after market ECU.......but from what I remember the Vtec kicks in at 5,000 rpm....
