Here's a quick question for you guys with 3Gs. I was under the hood today and I noticed that the radiator moves back and forth a bit. Is this normal? It won't go anywher but it's not bolted to anything on the top. On my 1G the radiator securely fastend and it doesn't move anywhere. Thanks!

 

There are supposed to be two bolts fastening it to the radiator support (hence the name I guess hehe).

 

Mine doesn't have any bolts on top attaching it to the radiator support. It only has these small "feet" on top that fit in holes in the radiator support. It moves back and forth a bit but it won't fly out. Where is it supposed to attach to the radiator support?

 

those 2 little "feet"... those are what attatches it to your rad. support... there should be 2 srews holding them in place...(1 each)... other than that there might might be a little play in the radiator... because the hole in the "feet" is a little bigger than the ummmm.... thing that goes into them...

The feet are suppose to be there to give it some slight shock resistance and noise absortion.. try running a radiator and fan straight attached.. it can give you a nice hum
