99 civic si harness on 00 jdm b18c itr
I found a 99 civic si dohc wire harness. I have a 95 civic ex. Can I use the civic si harness to wire my 00 jdm itr motor up and not have to lengthen any wires. I know i have to add the ks wire but other than that am i straight??

I think you might run in to a problem with the ecu though. What ecu are you using? I would by the OBD II to OBD I harness, and buy an OBD I type R ecu. I have one with a JUN program if interested. It's on ebay right now.</TD></TR></TABLE>
you are a complete idiot.
- using a 99 Si harness on a b18c-r motor in a 95 Civic will *NOT* work. the 99 Si harness goes from the sensors on the motor all the way through the firewall and to the ECU. there is no intermediate harness like there is on a 92-95 civic. dude needs to use a 92-95 civic harness and adapt it to fit onto the ITR motor, or he can get an obd2 gs-r engine harness, plug it into the motor and it will plug into the 92-95 civic intermediate harness on the shock towers.
- there is no such thing as an OBD1 Type R ECU. The first year the ITR was produced in Japan was 1996 and the ECU while it may be more similar to our US Spec OBD1 than US Spec OBD2, still has OBD2a ecu female plugs on it and will only plug into OBD2a male ecu harness plugs.
Please don't speak on matters that you have no clue what you are talking about.
