anyways.......i had my eg stolen about a week ago.........
they stripped everything ..............my b18c, jdm goodies, hood, etc........

now i'm debating between getting a ek and swappin in a new motor....or pick up a 03 rsx type s............

i want to hear the opinions of rsx's owners

How much $$$ do you have, and how much of it are you willing to spend? What are your main goals for your next car? Drag racing? Auto-X? Nice daily driver? You must take all of these into account. Go test drive the RSX. The decision should be based on your wants/needs. Of course everyone in here will want you to get the DC5. I'm sure you'll love it, but make sure it's what you want.

 

go with the dc5 i love mine to death, i was sold at first test drive

 

dpk loves beer as he drank all mine. As for the car as stated above... evaluate your needs and than decide.

 

if i had a choice of a ek w/ a swap...then it would HAVE to be a b18c5
so i'm with the others on this...dc5 all the way...
what got me in it was the interior..then of course the engine

I would say DC5 - try something new if you feel you can make the best out of it to your own standards.

Don't ruin your investiment with a mis-shift if you decide the Type S.

Regardless of your standards for the topic, I wanted to share my positive perspective anyway.

 

well i'm pretty sure my insurance isn't going to give me back a lot of money.........so i was thinking. if i get the ek, i have to start all over again (interior, motor, coil/shocks, jdm goodies). i did that with my eg .... I just want a car that's pretty much set already so i wouldn't have to do much to it.......i like the rsx's style.....nice interior + great motor......

i was thinking about making it an autocross/daily driven car...........besides......i don't need to be really fast........i love my eg w/ the jdmb18c........love the speed......but i'll be happy with the stock type S speed.......

and yes my eg did have an alarm...

i'm probably going to put a down payment on the car when the insurance covers me.
