Tinted rear window in race cars??

My computer doesn't seem to want to download any of the http://WWW.nasaproracing.com rules, so I cannot tell if a tinted rear window is legal in spec miata's or S2000's, etc.....

While I don't think it is stated to be illegal in the rules anywhere it is STRONGLY recommended that no tint is run. That's what I was told when I had the same question.

I see no mention of tinting in the NASA CCS or Spec Miata Challenge rules. However, I am fairly certain that the SCCA prohibits window tint in IT cars.

There is a hardtop for sale that a buddy of mine is looking at, and it has a tinted rear window...not sure yet if it is aftermarket or factory...so I thought I would at least ask.
