HELP: Ignition Switch & Door Keyholes

A few days ago, some low life thieves attempted to steal my car. I'll create another thread with the details but as for now, I need to know....
How should I go about getting/replacing my ignition switch/steering column and the driver's side keyhole? New or used? Would I have to run different keys or can it be "reprogramed" to my old keys?

Unfortunately liability won't cover theft unless you pay for it which I doubt that you do. Have you checked with Honda about this? Atleast what they sugest you should do? I suggest you get a new ignition cylinder, have a key matched to that cylinder and then have the key programed to the car. You shoulden't need a new imobilizer system ($250) and if you get a T-5 key its only like $40 for a new key and programing at some larger dealers. Otherwise a new key is $15 for the key and ususally $65 to program at the smaller dealers.
As far as the door locks go you might have to get a new/used locks and use a diffrent key. You basicly will have two keys one for door locks (if you change both of them) and one for your ignition.
Its possible that honda sells key sets that include the key/ignition/door locks.

I forgot about the trunk too. I guess you can get a popper or change the cylinder. I don't think im making this any better by suggesting other things that need to be replaced. It sucks to hear that your car was broken into.
