Fmax...if it was at a good price, would you buy one?
Dont be a ***, stick with DRAG!
hehe.. i'm j/k. Most turbo kits are really good. It is all a matter of preference.. although I do like the DRAG kit very much.

I have the Fmax on my integra . . . love it. However, all turbo guys/gals love their setup, so we're all kinda biased towards our own setups.
Reverend, Inlinefour is trying to talk me into getting a turbo, possibly an fmax. Can you email, call, or IM me on suggestions? You know the number
.
.
I doubt it. I think people are misinformed, mistaken about, and scared of the MF2, that's all. Other than that the FMAX seems the same as all the others.
jacques, I'll call you this weekend sometime.
All the rest of you: mplex2000 is right - They all do essentially the same thing, its just a matter of what your long term plans are for your vehicle. Some require more work to make streetable, while some are very streetable, but lack the ability to expand as much. Above all, take your time and do your research and figure out which kit suits your needs the best. Ask people with similar kits, call the manufacturers with lists of questions, talk to local dealers.

I have fmax. I want to know why 7 people(now 2 more since my post) vote that it sucks, but do not have any statement to back it up.
I voted
on Fmax because I plan on going with larger injectors and a Standalone, so having the extra injectors and the MF2 is a waste for me.

haha.. yea.. 7 peeps voted it sucks and no reasons..
i'm just guessing it's misinformation. as far as i'm concerned with all i have learned and done so far in my small experience with turbo's.. and the DRAG kit has it's drawbacks as well... hmmmm lets see,
1. shitty *** return line method for oil line
2. british standard oil sending line fitting that didnt fit quite right (threads not right)
3. trimming the block
4. downpipe with bolts that only a small child can get to while turbo is int he car.. (i'm still fighting mine to get them tightened more...
5. downpipe doesn't leave room for a cat (ok, ok, i put a stright pipe on anyway, but that's not the point)
other than that it gives mad power, has a great sound and it a decent kit for around 3 bills...
whatever kit you get.. just have it tuned and you should be fine..

I totally agree with GSReBoost. They all have their upsides and downsides. If you plan on running bigger injectors and standalone, then fmax might not be the way to go in terms of the whole kit. However, the way their mechanical components (IC, piping, turbo, downpipe, manifold) fit on just right, IMHO, is unmatched.
As stated before, I think, as an F-max kit owner, that the AIC is very reliable for low boost (under ~15psi). Above that, a standalone may prove to be the better option.

I don't understand this one. You can opt not to get the MF2 with injectors with the kit. People have done it.

I think it just sheer bias...so many people have Drag because of the group buy last year...I am trying to put together a group buy of my own but I wanted know if there were any real SERIOUS buyers who want an FMAX...if not, I'm not going to bother and just get the kit on my own...
If you guys actually do decide on a buyin, like 5 kits, give me a call. My brother owns a shop, and I've spoken to FMAX a couple of times to get a buyin, but we've never been able to find 5 people to get the kit at the same time. I'm sure my bro could work a lower price than if just a regular customer called and tried a buyin, that's what I think at least, doesn't hurt to try...

I've contacted FMAX as well as a couple of other distributers...I will comeback later with a price quote from them....
dude,
count me in for the fmax. I want to go with a hondata system with the fmax minus their extra injectors and electronics. they tell me they won't sell to me direct.
