Default Question: OBD-0 - JDM 4-1 header + 2 o2 sensors

I have an LS/VTEC for my '88 Accord LX-i and I am staying OBD-0. I have the PR3 ECU and the PR3 distributor. With this set up there are 2 o2 sensors. The JDM header only has 1 o2 sesnor bung. What can I do to use both o2 sensors? Do I have to get a test pipe with an o2 bung? has anyone had the same problem before? Please any help would be great because I am strating to go crazy trying to finish this up.

You need to weld two bungs on the header for them.

been there, done that - gained 15whp

you have to get two bosses welded into the 3 and 4 pipes and make sure you remember which ones go where as you cannot connect them back to front...

see here for how to weld teh bosses:

any q's ask me

thanks for the pic! So to clarify... I need to weld shut the one on the collector and then weld in 2 new holes on 3 and 4.

Tinkerbell - what do you mean you cannot connect them back to front?

no - dont weld th boss, just get a big bolt (called a 'bung') and screw it into where the 4-wire O2 sensor goes

you should also read this thread:

PLUS just a hint - always test fit the extractors when working out where the new holes go...

since your staying obd0 can't you get your pr3 chipped so it works with only one o2?

From what I am reading I can do that, but at this time I just want to get this thing running. That is something I will definitely be looking into later on this summer. I appreciate all the help guys!
