question for tokiko illumina owners
my cousin gave me his tokiko illuminas and i dont know the settings. and after i pop the adjuster out, how do i push it back in? i dont want to break it....and can u explain to me the diffrent settings, like if i want a stock feeling ride or if im at the track. oh yeah, i have GC coilovers and i was wondering if i should just throw out the dust covers, or cut them? is it bad if the metal thing of the shock gets dirty?
thank you

there's only one way the adjuster can go in.... you should be able to see grooves on the top of the shock that will match up with the adjuster, and yes you can adjust them with a flat head screw driver as long as it fits
I have the same set-up. The larger the number the "stiffer" the shock becomes. For everyday use, mine are set at 1 in the front and 2 in the rear. If I went to the track, 3 front and 5 rear.
I would try to use the dust covers if possible. I trimmed mine. Dirt is the enemy to the shock rod seal.
Hope I helped.

does anybody's dial keep turning..for example,,lets say if the setting is on 1..if you turn to make it stiffer to number 5,that should be the stiffest right. what happens if you keep going past 5 and go back to 1 with out going the oppisite way. does the shock become soft again.....this isnt a joke,,my illuminas go after the 5 setting,,i was wondering if theres anything wrong with that
