I am having trouble prying apart the 2 halves of my ZC tranny. I have all the bolts removed, starter removed, and I'm expanding the C clip at the end of the housing. So far I can manage to seperate the housings about 1/2" and that's it. Am I missing something?

It feels like it's gonna come off until about 1/2". Kinda feels like it's still snaged on something.

Sounds like the C-clip hasn't completely disengaged.
