hey guys, this is retarded but my wipers won't turn off. turn the switch and they keep going, what could possibly be wrong. is this as simple as a switch? could something have gotten disconnected? any suggestions would be appreciated:-)

Maybe the motor. Specifically, the parking switch. When you switch off the wipers, they still run until that thing tells the motor that they're parked at the bottom of your windshield. That is maybe built into the motor assembly & you can't buy it separately.

If you didn't have that switch, they'd just stop wherever they were.

 

What year and model? There are a couple service bulletins on different models.

 

unplug the harness for the motor in the engine bay on the fire wall. when it rains plug it back in...
