Hye guys,

My driver's side headlight has a hole in it! A rock must have hit it or something. Anyway a replacement headlight is about $100 from all the online parts places. Is it really this expensive? I just want the glass cover, not the whole assembly. Any help would appreciated!

normally you have to replace the entire thing. They are sealed from the factory. You can take them appart but I don't know where you would be able to find replacements for that.

 

you cant order just the replacemt glass. you have to replace teh whole headlight assembly

Well Actually the headlight assemble comes all apart and you can replace just what needs to be replaced, but for what you want you have to replace the lense/housing. You can call local junk yards and they should sell you just the lense/housing or you can go to: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and select you year and model and what not and then pick headlight from the list of parts, and pick what part needs to be replaced and there you go. I know you can do this because I have done this both ways through the junk yard and through the store. Well good luck.
