Default OEM exhaust robbing boosted Honda Acura's power?

ok guys here's my dilemma. i have a 1990 honda acura, and i am now boosting via a t25 dsm turbo. for the record, i am not on the record, i am using a redrilled dsm manifol.d i had a buddy of mine weld up a downpipe with a flange that would work with my oem exhaust, i will get a larger size later (only 2.25 now)

it feels as if the car is lagging, like the power is getting robbed by something. i know that having a small exhaust IS robbing the power, but how much are we talking, and is there something else that could be taking it away?

car: 1990 honda acura
turbo: t25, dsm manifold, rest of components are from 1g.
engie: f22a1, 8.8:1 pistons (forged), crower rods, stock head compnonents
