Default Throttle Body Question..

OK, I'm looking at buying a 70mm throttle body for my b18c1.. I have the skunk2 intake manifold and I was hoping to port match the opening of the skunk2 intake manifold with the throttle body.. i'm pretty sure that will work.. but here's my main question.. BBK makes a 70mm throttle body but they specifically say NON-vtec.. my question is why is it non-vtec I don't see how the throttle body should matter if it's vtec or not.. is it because of sensors that come with the throttle body.. meaning i could just change out those sensors with my factory sensors???

i think maybe its for the soch motor, but if it isnt, then just hook up a hose to the map sensor and your good to go. just keep the hose as short as possible
