OT: what to use to clean dashboard?
i grease that bitch up with eagle one........then I place a quarter on the right air bag panel.......if it doesn't slide off.......I apply another layer of eagle one
Griot's Interior cleaner. IT works great at removing stains and dirt and it will not the leave dash shiny, instead it has a nice satin finish.

Me too.
I have a sponge thing that picks up dust using static electricity or something.
I forget what brand it is made by, but it is available in the automotive section in Walmart.
My dash is always dirty though because a clean dash is the last of my worries. If you want a clean dash, don't drive with your windows open.

The best thing I have found to clean the huge amounts of dust that seem to settle on the dash...
A moist chamois.... after I am done drying the car, I will try to get the most water out of the chamois as I can and use it to clean those nasty dust particles.

TO ALL THAT HATE ARMOUR ALL:
Try this stuff: http://www.303products.com/mai...rview 303 Protectant. Works great and not glossy and greasy like Armour All.
Here is a picture:

Been using it for two years on my current ITR and am in Arizona. No cracking or fading with my dash so far! :-) Almost any marine/boat supply store will have it.

I use a sponge like Reid mentioned.
Also Armour all is making a cleaner product that doesn't shine. I have been real pleased with it as well.

Another Amour All hater here.
I like the matte finish Leatherique-Prestine Clean gives. Despite the name, it's made to clean vinyl. I use it on all the interior vinyl pieces.

Another good cleaner is Meguiars- Vinyl and Rubber cleaner. I think it's #40.

IMO, both clean without giving your dash that greasy, glossy, can't see because the dash is reflecting light into your eyes type of finish.

I use a clean, damp Absorber to get all the lint and dust off. This works extremely well. I also use Meguires Cream Leather Conditioner to condition the dash every couple of months. Put some on a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and rub it in. Then take a dry cloth and rub in further...enough to take the gloss off the dash. Your dash will look like new for years if you do this.
damp towel just to get the dust off..anti-armor all here as well
However, i do have aproblem with the trunk panels getting all scuffed up from my golf bag. Don't really know what to do about it. Even if I did, those marks would probably come back anyways

i picked up the california duster and it works pretty well. i don't like the fact that the wax sometimes shines the dash a tad bit. it's pretty cheap so it's a

Where do you think all that greasy shine goes after a few days of evaporating in the sun? I'll give you one guess - unless you are too busy cleaning the inside of your windshield.

zymöl Vinyl™ Vinyl Conditioner

Heat, cold, washing and exposure to solvent-based cleaners and run-of-the-mill treatments damage the finish of your vinyl upholstery and vinyl trim. Some vinyl manufacturing methods use formaldehyde as the base. Introducing solvent- or formaldehyde-based treatments can accelerate vinyl deterioration by changing the original chemical balance. zymöl Vinyl Conditioner is a solvent-free, formaldehyde-free, oil-based feeding product that releases solvents and restores moisture.
Good stuff. Leaves the vinyl with a nice satiny sheen, not glossy or oily looking.
