dc2 Autopower 6pt Rollcage
I had the cage in my car for like a year and never thought it made much of a differnce as far as stiffing up the chasis or better handling. well, i took the cage out yesterday and it really does make a different, the chasis seems a lot softer on turns and it feels different hitting bumps on the street. i feel like putting it back in again but i'm more of a drag racer (dont hate!
) and don't need it for drag racing.i know people are always asking me about the fitment. the bar fits with the full interior in, the two bars that goes to the rear fender wells go through the rear speaker holes. i think they're suppose to fit through perfect but i had to trim it a lil (jus 1/4 inch) to make mines fit.
getting in and out of the car isn't that bad either, the door bars are pretty low so u can get through them pretty easy. backseat access is possible, u jus have to know how to crawl under it
also you really can't see the bar from outside the car and never really got bitched by a cop, the cage was in my daily.
seat fitment isn't a problem at all, i had stock integra seats, procar bucket seats, corbeau forza, and now del sol seats, they all cleared fine w/o hitting the side bars are all
and finally, in addition to informing the public, i like to annouce that my cage is for sale. check link in my sig for more info.
