Default Subwoofer Grills

Does anyone know of some good inexpensive sbwuufer grills? I've just installed a sub in my hatch but I'm worried about damaging the cone.

My local shops all carry the same square whole grills that are just plain ugly. I'm looking for something a little more stylish, but I don't want to spend more on the grill than I did on the sub.

I have a 12" Sony Explode Round sub.

Kicker grills should be fine. xplod's don't have enough excursion to get damaged by them.

Yeah, they owned ATF kuk's diamond tdx also. Too much excursion for the grills, dented the cone. The xmax on the kicker subs is around 16mm. So unless you have some badass sub, you will be fine.

Send my the idmaxx, and I will see what I can do

I considered using the kicker grill and making little blocks out of 3/4" mdf. That would give me enough so the sub would miss it.

You can talk to Evol, he has a cool custom plexi job. I am not sure how much you wanted to pay

No, JOMO has been plainly telling us how he feels about Sony on another thread.

Trick is, I picked up a sub, amp and box for just over a hundred bucks.

It may not be the best but it has to be better that stock without it.

Just finished the install last nigh. The whole thing just unplugs and lifts out to give me my hatch back... now Ijust need to stop the sub from moving around.

After finding it impossible to get what I want (Kicker) I found this at Crutchfield... Don't know if I can order it from Canada, but it's a little nicer looking than the Bazooka one I can find.
