best mods for s2k???
hello all...i'm quite a n00b when it comes to cars and was wondering if u could help me pick the right mods for my s2k. im mainly interested in horsepower gains. what is the cheapest products that will add the most horsepower? basically the most bang for the buck. i'm not interested in turbo or nos. the first things that i will probably buy is an intake and exhaust. but my friend told me if i pick the wrong products i'll actually lose horsepower. so i needed input as to wut brands to buy, wut the cost is, and what other things should i buy besides exhaust and intake...etc. Any advice would be much appreciated. Please dont flame me for i am jus a n00bie.

AEM makes a good intake and Team Spugen makes a good lightweight exhaust that is cheaper than others but just as good. You won't notice a whole lot of hp increase but throttle response is better with the AEM CAI. I think 5-8 whp is about the max gains out of exhaust and intake.
yea this is my daily driver so i don't want any adverse affects on my fuel consumption.
also....i heard turbo's or superchargers require a lot of maintenance. Is this true? Would i have to take my car in to get tuned all the time if i get a supercharger?

You outta check out s2ki.com for that question. There is a lot of information on S/C and Turbos, just do a search and you should be able to find a plethera of knowledge. I've heard the S/C are reliable but haven't heard much about maintenance
I'm an HKS fan so if you want to check out mods to do to your s2k here's a site you can go to http://www.tdi-plc.com/HondaS2000.html

yeah i also thought like you(since the rpms will be higher on the freeway) BUT there are people who actually have 4.44 gears and they say there is no noticable drop in gas mileage. 4.77 might be a little different though.
