Default h22 into 92 lude help!!

We are currently doing the h22a swap into a prelude that originally had an h23. Everything is cool, however, we are running into some wiring problems. The h23 that was in the car had 4 plugs on the engine harness(1-4pin male, 1-14pin male, 1-10pin female, 1-14pin female). The h22 has 6 plugs(2-14pin male, 1-4pin male, 1-10pin female, and 1-14pin female). What do we need to do for the wiring. I think I know which wires need to be wired up for the VTEC, but what about the extra plubs?? Any help would be great!!

Thanks, Ben

I did mine with the h23 harness and i had no problems at all. I dont understand what connectors you are talking about. my engine was a obd1 and all the connectors matched, since i used the h23's distributor. I dont know if the obdII engines have different engine harnesses or not but i know they have different ecu harnesses. So are you talking about the harness inside of the engine by or the one that connects to the ecu?

Our H22 has the complete engine wiring harness on it. That is the one with the six plugs that was described. The car side harness only has the four plugs on it. CHK4TIX... when you say that you used the H23 harness do you mean that you swapped the H23's engine harness on to the H22?

Thanks,
Ben

yes i swapped the h23 harnes onto the h22. as i said before, i am not sure of the differences (if any) in the wiring for and OBDII and ODBI h22. is your engine a 92-95 or 96-00?
