Well I would never do NOS reason being it is a life killer of the engine unless its built up but even then its such a jump in power that it will work but not for long. There are some people that use it whenever they pull up on someone on a street (can we say dumb) every once and a while at the strip is ok. Other mods that will improve HP are the obvious bolt ons...intake, exhaust, headers. Once you have those you can do ignition, cam gears, throttle body, bigger fuel injectors, fuel systems, then there is a huge dilemma of going the forced induction route. I know that Jackson Racing (www.jacksonracking.com) has a supercharger kit that runs for around 3K and that should improve reliability as well as HP and TQ. I personally would go that route because its low psi and constant power. Some people on here might disagree. Good luck and email me if you have any other questions uncendo1@hotmail.com

I'd wait until the adapt the Supercharger kit for the car. If you go off of the 20% increase in power that the current kits give you are looking at 288HP but I think the kit will be closer to 300HP due to the increase in egine efficiency.......

thanks guys. i didnt know that jackson made a super charger for my car. as for headers not out yet same goes for throtle body fuel pressure reg or cam gears. even if i was to upgrade my fuel system wouldnt i need an afvc or something along the lines of that? wouldnt just dumping more fuel without comp control just flood out the engin? thanks again for the help.

the SC kit will run off of the stock fuel system IMHO as the current kits for the 98 to 02 accords do not require any modification to the fuel system... the comptech kits only change one sensor signal for the MAF so that the honda ecu knows how much air is being pushed into the engine......

I love how a couple people have mentioned headers. lol
There will never be complete headers offered for this car.

The exhaust manifolds, aka the headers, are integrated into the cylinder head on the new 240hp v6. So unless you want to swap cut off the existing headers with a torch and weld on some custom headers you're out of luck for a header. This is not a car to be even mildly modified, nevermind extensive work.

Just because you cannot modify the header doesnt mean its gonna be a car the can only be lightly modded. Just give the market some time and im sure many companys will be coming out with parts for this car because it looks as if it will have a lot of potential.

my guess is someone will make custom heads..

on a side note this honda engine has the cats attached right to the head.......wowow

These engines are getting harder and harder for people to modify.......

Im sure a company will come out with some custom heads and more than likely the heads will remove those cats. that should show some very nice gains. lets hope!
