Need final drive gears for H-22 trans
Does anybody have any higher (numerically) final drive gears for the H-22 transmission??
Or does anybody know who makes them - that I can afford!

opps... you didn't want a longer geared tranny.. Tom, how can you want a shorter geared tranny than a M2F4? (1993-1996 VTEC tranny)
Still trying to beat the horrible 2-3-4 gears splits with higher gears in the final drive I can then run 3-4-5 in the same places! Hopefully!!
Still have my custom 4.4 final drive available that I bought for the Prelude. Never been used and not cheap: $1,200. Manufactured by Houseman and still in the original shipping container. I've never even seen it, but am told it is sitting on a shelf at OPM.
Houseman can do a 4.4, 4.7, or a 4.9 for $1700

Prodrive has 4.7 for $1250

I am probably going with the 4.9 from Houseman since I am running 225/50/16 which is an inch taller than stock. If you guys want to get a groupbuy together for some Houseman gears I would be in..

If you have a 5th gen tranny, I can see how you would want a lower FD.. Or maybe the tracks out west are typically slower than the ones here on the east.. There is no way I would need one, as I am very close to hitting the rev limiter in 5th at 3 of the tracks here on the east that I run.
A 4.9 in a prelude?? Thats nutty!! Would be great on an accord though!
