Someone wrote in here not to long ago about making the console upgrade. i've searched and can't remember where i read it, but someone knew how to rewire the caution light wire harness so that it works from a 93 console to the newer one. something like switching the yellow and some other color in the harness. anyone know exactly which wires to move?

 

well, if you used the 94+ harness then you just need to ground the black wire on the extra three wire plug if you didnt then. Im not sure how. but the original link is here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=428055

 

thanks, but i wasn't talking about the guage cluster. i meant the middle console between the seats. the four-way flashers are different from the 93 and 95 consoles. i have the 95 console in a 93 and when i plug in my caution light harness to the button it doesn't work. it fits, but it doesn't work. i need to know how to rewire it. sorry about the mix-up

How big of a deal was it changing your parking brake setup from the 93 to the 94+, since its moved inside a little, because I want to do the same upgrade but have been procrastonating it for that reason.

 

i just put the console in last week, so i haven't had time to properly mount the e-brake. i want to get up underneath the car and make sure i don't drill into some wires or brake lines before i do it, but it should be simple enough. i'll pass on the information when it's complete.
