Default Mugen Lowdown Owners. HELP!

After autoX today, I had my second driver change the lowdown settings back for me.

When I was driving home, the ride felt a little stiff. I looked at the settings and the front was on 1 and the rear ones were set at 5.

I think that he may have turned the screw full turns instead of going down one click or two.

How do I reset the mugen's so that they are at the factory setting? Any ideas? Any harm in turning the setting screw counterclockwise or clockwise? Will it eventually stop turning? If it stops turning, can someone tell me how many turns to bring it back to spec for the front and rear?

Thanks in advance!

There is a little pointer on the adjustment screw. It is faint but you can make it out if you look closely. The adjustment screw will not turn past 1 or 5 (unless you really force it).

Just find the pointer and set it to the desired setting.

Yeah.. That's the thing. I think he turned it past that point and turned the screw a few full turns. I turned the front screws one full turn counterclockwise and set it to number 1.. I did the same thing to the rear shocks. The front shocks feel soft, but the rears still feel stiff. I just want to get it back so I'm 100% sure its within the range of the factory spec when I first got them.

might want to email King and see what they have to say.

ask your "friend" what he did when he adjusted the shocks. Mine don't turn past the ends, though I never forced them to do so.

Hope it's a simple fix, like a "reset" you're hoping for.

Good luck

I e-mailed King. Apparently, its OK.. turning 1-2-3-4-5 and then past the long detent is ok.. The setting will just start over again at 1. The second time around is just like the first
