Default ecu upgrade

well, after many months of searching, and saving for the perfect time to order, i have ordered most of my valve train and only have to order the head bolts, and head gaskets. MINUS the previously mentioned, its all skunk2 with a skunk2 stage 2 camshaft. my real question is, will i need to upgrade my ecu or am i in the clear for just a bit more? ill get an ecu upgrade regardless, but i wanna know if its pointless to install the parts if i dont have the ecu yet. i have a full arospeed exhaust, am getting greddy headers and str 70 mm throttle body. among other things. am i gonna waste my time installing the stage 2 cam shaft and its parts or is it do-able without an ecu upgrade. thanx a bunch peeps.

Not sure what you mean by "ecu upgrade", but to get the most out of those mods you should at the least be running a dyno tuned VAFC and preferably something like hondata.

i guess to fix any mis-communication, when i say ecu upgrade, i mean items like a piggy back system or a stand alone fuel management system. i hope that helps a bit more.

We offer Hondata and so far i have seen great results from out H22a tuning sessions. Affordable and effective.

If your car is obd-1 all you need is a p28 or p72 which range from $125 to $200. and The s100 system is $245 + 50 for labor and basemap fee. $295 if you have the ecu which is not bad.
