As the title states I was just day dreaming and was wondering if the 98+ lights would fit in the older 94-97 bumper. Of course you would need to trim the bumper were the low beam is because it is noticeably larger. I know it wouldnt look right but unlike many on this board I dont have lots of money to work with. If anyone has any input let me know. Thanks ahead of time.

 

I would say do it and post pics. I dont think it would look good personally, but you never know unless you try. Bust out the dremel and get going.

 

Somebody w/ an ITR I think already did it for temporary use while something was being done to his bumper. The body shop had a red 94-97 bumper laying around so he cut and trimmed it and made it fit on his white 98 ITR until his bumper was finished.

 

Thats cool. So at least I know it can be done. I bet it looks like total crap though. The lights seem like they would protrude from the bumper a little. Can anyone find that picture of the silver teg with the 98 + bumper with the 94-97 headlights???Thanx for the help.

Damn should have took a pic. I just changed my 94 headlights to 98s on my 98+bumper last week. There is a fatty gap between the bumper and the 94 headlights. You can literally grap the middle part between the two circles from the headlight opening. Looks weird but unique. Just a descrption.
