I have a Sony CDX-C580 CD receiver, its an older model, but still an ES and sounds pretty good. The problem is the CD transport is broken, it has been laying around in my garage for a little while, and must have taken a hit. The mount on the side of the "bar" that loads the CD is Broken, basically it holds the loading bar in place.

does anyone know where I can get either the little plastic piece that goes on the end, or even a whole new transport??

I pulled out the transport (luckily the radio still works without it installed) there are 2 numbers on the top, one is "80114176" wich is black ink right on the lid, the other is "98M3073219A" wich is on a sticker. I have been google searching with no success, I will search some more, but if you know somewhere I can get the parts, or have any sony parts laying around HELP ME OUT!!

i dont think they usually sell just that one piece, you'd have to find someone that has the radio itself and see if you can buy it from them, otherwise you just need a new radio
