Did something stupid and need help (radio issue)
I started stripping the ITR to get it ready for a cage. For some reason the radio doesn't work. I may have did "something" when removing the passenger air bag. I checked the fuses and they are ok. So, you say, who cares about the radio if your car will be a race car? I really don't care, but I do care about the CD that I left in the radio and cannot get out
So the main question... can I remove the CD without power to the radio? and how?
(you know how CD players in a computer have that hole you can push a paper clip through to release the CD drawer)

If you just provide a 12 volt power source to the headunit, you can turn it on and eject it. That would mean looking up a diagram or your service manual to find out which pins are the + and -.
If you didn't cut any of the radio harness, you might have disconnected the ground. If you can't find where you disconnected the ground, then look up which one is the ground wire on the harness and connect that with some point on the chassis. You should then be able to turn on your CD player.
Sorry I'm being a bit vauge, but I haven't played with the stereo on my car in a loooong time.

I started to take it apart, but got to a point where I would do it serious damage to try and get the CD, so I figured to stop taking in apart and think of an alternative. That is why I posted.
