I just went through doing a headgasket change, and im at the point to put on the altenator belt, ac and ps. However i cant seem to get the altenator belt over the crank pulley. is there a trick to doing this? I've got the altenator loose just like the helms says to do, just cant slip it over. Im about to give up and take it to a shop to do. they'll do it for like 45 bucks, but i figured i'd ask honda-tech members first!

Oh yeah, i tried searching...no results found....maybe im just typing in the wrong phrase, but i did try....

wrong belt maybe
should be an adjustment on the alt. bracket like the a/c and p/s.
