how much to civic Si seats weigh??
i have pair os Civic Si seats from a 90 HB that i haven't gotten a chance to weigh...any idea how much?
also they are being shipped out to Wisconsin so does anyone have a relative idea on how much that might cost? should i send them as a package? or as seperate pieces? and what is a good way to package them? being that most companies will charge a good $25 to put them a box.

Well what I am doing (well did just havent sent them out yet) is I took off the rails and layed the seats completely flat (lay them down and push them so they are pretty much flat) I went and then stood them both up into a box that was big enough to fit them both and thats it. Well the box was bigger but since it was too big I just modified the box to make the seats fit snugger in the box. Another thing you could so is just saran wrap them together and just put some carboard around some of the ares as well but I would rather have a complete box so nothing gets ripped or dirty. Its small enough to go through UPS or FedEx since they have the 130" girth restriction and not too heavy they came out to being about 55 lbs with the box but with out the rails. I am sending him more stuff so the reails were packaged seperately but if you lay them flat on the bottom of the box you should be fine. Oh and shipping will be around like $50-$60 depending on the size, weight, and who your going through.
just beware that they calculate shipping charges by size not weight, i had to pay 85$ to ship a abs plastic lip kit that weighed 13lbs because of it's size. they take the height+width+depth and it has to be below 130" to ship by weight, otherwise they ship it as if it weighed 100lbs or more.
