Default paint exhaust?

So I have a stock '91 crx si now, since my old rex was totalled in november. The stock exhaust and cat on the '91 is about to die and I still have my Thermal catback and my random tech. hiflow cat sitting at the shop from my old rex. I've rewelded the Thermal in a few spots, and the exhaust is back from '99, so I was thinking of painting it with a High temp flat black paint. any thoughts?

i don't see why high temp paint would'nt work. over time though, with the exhaust being where it is, it will get chips and flakes and possibly need repainting.

Yeah, I used 1,200 degree flat black paint, it turned out very nice. Ryan
