Hey guys, I am having difficulty with my car every now and then. My Lude has 4 wheel steering and I notice that about every 5 or 6 times I start my car...the 4WS light will come on and when it does, the steering wheel will get off centered.

The steering wheel turns about 1/12th of the way around. The car really doesn't pull in either direction. It may pull A LITTLE. The main thing that I notice is that the steering wheel is off alignment and the 4WS stops working.

Any ideas what this could be?? Do you think it is maybe a 4WS problem, power steering problem, or anything else??

 

If you hear that telltale whining/groaning noise when you turn your wheels while not moving thats usually a pretty good indication of a bad pump.

I dont know much about 4ws, so I cant help ya much there.

Oh, my ps pump doesn't make any noise.

I ahve NO IDEA what could be wrong. It MUST be something with my 4WS then.
