Dyno'd at 326whp at 12 psi...1/4 mile at 13.2 full interior and system at 10 psi, broke exhaust and oil line down track on street tires, all better now...12K miles on motor no problems in last 6k miles...Won every show attended since Kit was completed, won db comp with 142.8 db with 1 sub and factory power supply

dont get me wrong, the car is absolutely MINT!!!, but once again, i can't seem to figure out why people keep boosting b18c5's????? it's pointless to spend the money on boosting an engine with such compression.
I lowered the compression in the c5 to 8:1 for boost application....I did that because I got hooked up on the motor, I had the money to do it so why not? Even if the reason was for nothing more than to say you had a built Type-R Motor...It isn't any different than if I had built a c1 except for the head and tranny...I did what I did because that is what I wanted at the time....
Yes that would be crazy. He may have that much invested, but you can't get back out what you put in. Unless you find some rich kid who will get his parents to pay whatever it costs
