2001 CDM championship white R?
well hopefully you have some hookups at the dmv...its not super hard...but you do have to jump through some hoops...do a search this has been covered before
Shoot a private message to danelot on this board. He's not on much, but he imported a CDN ITR with not much hassle. There's dealerships close to the borders that deal especially with these situations. Good luck!!! It's by far the best way at getting a 01' in championship white.
Contrary to popular belief it is not difficult or costly at all to import an ITR from our fellow northern neighbors.

Here's my 2001 Canadian-spec Type R drop lifted to North Carolina. Be careful. A/C was NOT standard on Canadian R's. I had factory A/C installed for a very nasty amount of $$$.

Theres a guy here in Greenville SC that has one. Im not sure exactly how he got it. its a 01 or a 99 i cannot remember.

I shipped the car via enclosed carrier for about $1700. Expensive, but worth it. Horseless Carriage Company ships high-end sports cars. My Type R had plenty of nice company on the truck (Ferrari Modena and Porsche 996 Turbo).

Hey Jay...Actually I'm everyday. I just read more than I post
It is not hard to import a car. Contact a registered importer. You need to provide them w/ the specifics of the car and proof there are no recall which there are none on an 01 R. The importer will use a broker which will have all the paper work ready at the border. Drive through customs and do some paper shuffling. The car will be held in a holding lot until the paper work is finalized and the importer will give you what you need to register at DMV. The cost for this service was $450. It cost 2.75 % for tax and duty. You have to pay CDN GST tax, but you get a full refund through visitors refund.
I'm not sure on the warranty. No US dealer will honor, but you may be able to go back if the work is worth the trip. The dealer checked on a form that I have warranty time left and he knew I was form the states. IM me if you need more info

slash00R,
Thanks for the compliment. In fact, I love the Type R MORE than my Supra TT!

Stock and clean brakes and wheels:

Driven and enjoyed, but never in the rain:
Supra? Nah, the Type R rules!
