Question about v-tech..also.....?
my question is...i heard about ecu but i dont know exactly what it is....but my problem is when i race my v-tech doesnt kick in untill around 6000 rpm but i want it so it kicks in around 4000 or 5000....this goes back to ecu...but if anyone knows about that please lemme know....also the other question is when should i launch my car from going in to first...my car is 94 gsr...stock..thanx peace

first of all it's spelled VTEC.... second of all if you want to be able to change your VTEC crossover point then you'll need a VAFC to change it..... since you have a stock GSR i'd keep the stock VTEC crossover point because that's where it'll make the most power, after you get cams and other internal stuff then you can change your VTEC, but it'd be best to tune it on a dyno.. HTH

To change it from 4500 you will need the afforementioned controller, but unless you have some serious mods, you won't get that much out of switching it over... it's at that point for a reason, don't change it unless you have some sort of FI.. and even then maybe..
