OK on a stock honda/acura steelie 14 inch , whast the biggest or widest tire i can put on safely?

 

I believe it to be the 185

 

Im sure the ones in my sig will fit.

this might be gay.... but I have 13 inch steelies with 205's.

 

On the topic of 13", 14" and small wheels in general, who makes the best street tires for these sizes? Ive tried Yokohama Avids, Stock Bridgestone's and some type of michilins. Of the three I liked the Yoko's best so far, but they weren't really anything compared to say an S-03 or Azenis, which of course you cant get in 13". Anyone know any other good brands?

 

Umm 205's? Are you sure? I wasnt aware any company made a 205 for a 13 , let alone a 14.

 

I have 205/55/14 nitto 555r's on a set of del sol wheels so i guess thats about as wide as you can go. They are MASSIVE too...they sit about an inch taller then my 195/50/15 Nittos.

Yes they make them. The size is a 205/60/13. It is about 1/4" taller than a 185/70/13. They are a cheap brand from pep boys called futura. They squeal like hell if they spin any.

 

I know 195/60/14 will fit with no problem, but I'm guessing that 205/60/14 will fit too.

 

My 14'' steelies have a 196mm wide tire.
