Paint stock side skirts
you know the black "side skirts" that are on the car normally. I want to paint them to match the car. ANy suggestions? I know some of you people have done this.
Sure, it can be done. It looks pretty good, too, IMO. Be sure to shoot it first with an "adhesion promoter" to ensure that the paint sticks well to the plastic. I've seen plenty of ghtetto-painted side mouldings and side skirts with the paint chipping off because of lack of proper surface preparation.
Good luck. Post a pic if you do it. I'm sure plenty of us would like to see them done well.

man, u missed that deal dude.on stock oem sided from rsx.com or sumthing...it was pretty big....on the ooem kits.....like 150 bucks....it just looks hot...like u got a kit...thats if u lower it a lil
wel, i do custom body work...and there alot of primers out there that will give you a factory quality finish/look....but its pricey and you need access to an air compressor and auto spray gun...
I'd go with a PPG DP-40 epoxy primer (seriously good stuff...nothings chipping this stuff)
and a good surfacer......then get the exact paint match for your car...if you do it yourself it can cost as little as $75 for factory quality work...
otherwise...you WILL NOT get the finish you want trying to go any cheaper...regardless of what ANYONE tells you they can do..
