Default Rota Circuit 8's.....15 or 16 in. ?

i wanted 15 in slips, but im now leanin towards the C8's for a cleaner look and in my area slips are a lil played out. if im using my 93 hatch for daily drivin and for road racin would it be cool to get 16's or should i stay with 15's. can i still dump my car on the larger wheels and what will be the side affects of going with either size. 15 or 16.... thanx.

its better to go with smaller rims,ur car will go faster,it taskes a lot more wheel inertia to move larger rims.in the end its your choice though, just some advice.post some pics whatever your choice is

SW388's all the WAY!!!

SW388's all the WAY!!!</TD></TR></TABLE>This is true, but c'mon. We're talking about rotas not heavy *** konigs. The car will be faster with 15s than 16s but these aren't your average 16s. They're going to be pretty light. IMO if you are looking for a cleaner closed fender well look then go with the 16s. If you drag or autoX then go with the 15s.

Are you serious about road racing because most road racers/Auto-Xer's aren't too concerned with how low they can slam their car.

Unless the type of road you're talking about is a industrial side road with a bunch other people trying too see who's faster.........

go with the 16's, if you want that cleaner look, 16's looks way nicer then the 15's...infact they are a differnt design... the 16's have that web look and the 15's dont...

its true that tires are cheaper for 15's are more tires are availible.. but 16's are yummy..

for me i bought 16's i will make enough power to even run 17's so i didnt hesitate to get 16's

tough decision. I'm having a tough time choosing 15's or 16's too. Looks or power? The dilemma

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=539984 these are my 16 inch rota c8's with 205/45/16. I won't lie, with a 2.3 drop the rub a little in hard corners, but if you set up your car for racing they will be fine.......

well 15 - cheaper tires.. more tire selection
16s look nicer (fill the wheel gap bettter)

it up to you and your pocket book..

I have 14s and 15s to save on tires.. but if you are just cruising and can afford the tires, then go 16

15s. the 16s are a little bit too big for the EG. plus the tires are cheaper for 15s.

16" to big???? 17" are a big wheel, but look good on show cars.
i've had 16" now for 2 years. before that 17" before that 15".... i have to say that 16" are my fav. not many of us do road racing , so going for the 15" weight saver, is going to far.

i like 16" but thats just my .02

dood.. wtf you know how stupid this sounds.. where talking 15 or 16" rims decidein on power or looks.. where talking .00000000003 faster in the qtr mile, and 3lbs lighter.. get rims for looks. rotas or konigs on a civic will give you the SAME qt. Please proove it if you think elsewise

get the 15"s. Lighter, and you can get the 205/50/15 falken azenis for road racing.
you cant get azenis for 16 because it'll rub like hell.

its doesnt really need to be proven its just the facts of science and power to weight ratio. havin a wheel thats 13lbs opposed to 15-16lb ea. is going to make a difference. it may not take .5 off your et but it does help. you add that to other unneccessary pieces that you take off your car and that 10lbs turns into 30-50lbs that you dont have to drag along. this especially counts wit hondas where wiegh is a big factor in how fast you go.

I was stuck in the same position one time. I ended up buying 16's even though they are not mounted to the tires yet. Oh, and I went with the C8's too in Gunmetal

if your into daily driving and road racing with your car then you should get 15s, smaller rims= less weight.
