Default A6 vs Z6 timing belt ?

I have an A6 head on a D16z6 block ( nevermind why etc. ), and the Z6 timing belt won't fit onto the A6 head/cam spocket. The tensioner is totally loose, and I can't even pry it on ( even if I could, I wouldn'y run it that way ). So I guess I should use the A6 timing belt ? I guess its longer ?

I havnt tried it, but the general rule with mini-mes (or your case) is that
you use whichever belt matches the head. So yeah, id try the A6

Thanx. Now to just get the stupid crank pulley bolt off... Turn the compressor to 175 and go buy a 1'' drive socket I guess ( I already have the 1'' drive impact.

There is VERY limited room between the car and the crankshaft pulley with the Z6 swap, it sucks pretty bad.

Ps: I like to call it the "un-mini-me" for a turbo.
