i have a 88 prelude and it has a b20a4 can u put a b16 head on it??????????????

 

that seems like a pretty strait forward question, did you try searching, and also post this in the teg forum and hybrid section. i could have sworn i saw something like this a bit ago , try searching, but i think someone on here may know

 

yes you can. my friends and i put a b18 head on a b20 block. that sucker runs like candy. b16s are basically similar....

 

No you can't unless you are willing to do a bit of fabrication. The VTEC head will bolt up to the early block, but since the early cast b20 blocks are different than the later B20b/z cast blocks you will have to use a custom head gasket. There used to be a site that was called http://www.ludespeeder.com they started this type of modification, but it didn't seem to catch on.

and i personally dont think its worth it....but hey people tell me everyday the h22 swap isnt worth it....just do your research first.
