what size tires are you running on stock gsr 15" rims?
205/50-15 is the widest tire you can safely fit on your stock rims, and is the size most of the people on this board run. If you'd like more information or recommendations, try doing a search.
- figured I'd answer this one quick before the flames start!

The most popular size tire when replacing the 195/55-15s is 205/50-15. You'll find a much better selection of tires in that size, and you'll get a bit wider contect patch. The only drawback I've noticed is a little more sidewall flex under hard cornering, but it's not too bad.
bridgestone RE 730's 205/50/r15 "the best tire for the price" as some great one said... i love em - good in the rain, and they don't talk back much

thanks for the info.............but, kinda tired of whiney do a search b.s. You do a search on tires for 15 inch rims and tell me what you find. Nothing. The search engine here at HT is spotty at best. Everybody should realize this. Look at a persons sig., if they have been around here for more than a week I am certain they know about doing searches. If someone has been around here for a while why don't you try giving them the benefit of doubt that they did indeed try searches and came up with no relevant info. Do we realy want a board that is nothing more than an index of old posts. Everything has been covered in here at some time. Maybe this place should just be a search engine of its past self. H-T is becoming unbearably PC with this constant "do a search" BS. Good day.

I run 205/55's (already had them when I bought the car) on my stock GSR rims. I agree with everyone...205/50 is the best size to get. You get a bigger contact patch and a thinner sidewall.
With my size tires, I'm going a little faster (2-3 MPH) than what's indicated on my speedometer. With the 205/50 size, you should be going very close to stock specs.

I got 205/50/15.... so far handling has been great......haven't heard a single squeak from them yet even when I'm going through turns...!

ps. I'm moving to 215/45 or 40 series next time on my 7" rims.
